Job summary

Mars in Illinois seeks skilled Operators to support the production of quality products. You will operate and change over machinery, train teammates, and help ensure efficiency, safety and compliance with HACCP.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: Associate degree or higher in an engineering or manufacturing related discipline.
• Experience in a TPM environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate all equipment in the assigned work area while ensuring quality, safety and performance standards.
• Communicate effectively with team leader and peers.
• Fill out HACCP and military sheets correctly.
• Encourage and support a safe working environment.
• Keep the manufacturing area clean and organized according to 5S standards.
• Perform cleanouts and changeovers according to standards.
• Actively participate in TPM teams.
