Job summary

Mars is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Operator for our food production area. You will operate all equipment, ensure quality, safety and performance, and work within the TPM framework. Strong communication and teamwork will be essential to support site objectives.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, PLC/HMI experience, and familiarity with lean manufacturing practices. This role involves physical tasks and requires the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Grade 12 or High School diploma, or equivalent.
• Preferred: Associates degree, or higher, in an engineering or manufacturing related discipline.
• Preferred: Two (2) or more years of experience in a food related manufacturing environment with automated processes, including PLC/HMI.

Responsibilities

• Operate all equipment in the assigned work area while ensuring quality, safety and performance standards.
• Communicate effectively with team leader and peers.
• Follow proper escalation protocol.
• Fill out HACCP and military sheets correctly.
• Encourage a safe working environment and maintain 5S standards.
• Perform cleanouts and changeovers per work instructions.
• Actively participate in TPM teams.
