Job summary

Amcor LLC in Hanover, MD is hiring Processing Operators for day shift 7:00am-7:00pm on a rotating bi-weekly schedule. You will operate stretch blow molding machines, inspect, package and move PET containers, and support changeovers.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, be physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds, operate scanners and forklifts, and maintain GMP and SQF standards. The role offers comprehensive benefits and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of product identification and basic math skills.
• Fork-lift experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate stretch blow molding machines and inspect/pack PET containers.
• Start/stop machines, perform routine inspections, cleaning and lubrication.
• Pack containers to meet production speeds and build 4 ft high units.
• Safely operate lift trucks to move materials.
• Maintain GMP and SQF compliance and food safety.
• Assist in changeovers and identify start/stop of out-of-spec production.
• Fill in as Packaging Technician when needed.
