Amcor in the United States is seeking a Machine Operator to oversee the safe operation of blow molding production lines on a 12-hour shift (7a-7p), four days on and four days off. You will monitor part flow, inspect quality, and assist in training new operators.

The role emphasizes GMP adherence, forklift safety, and accurate daily reporting while maintaining a clean, safe work environment and contributing to continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience or training related to manufacturing is acceptable.
• Certificate and training in safe forklift operation are required.

Responsibilities

• Randomly check parts produced every hour to ensure customer specifications are met.
• Place parts in specified relationship to each other.
• Monitor flow of parts into assembling machinery, secondary equipment, and storage containers.
• Tend machines, such as presses and molding area equipment, per product standards.
• Work at different stations as production needs require.
• Assist in training new operators as needed.
• Check finished parts for defects and complete daily production reports.
• Notify leads or supervisors when items fail quality or when machinery needs repair.
• Use calculator to compute production-related data and maintain PPE and housekeeping.
