Job summary

Amcor Flexibles, LLC is seeking Processing Operators for the Day shift in Maryland. You will operate stretch blow-molding machines, inspect and pack PET containers, and perform routine machine inspections to ensure quality and safety.

Role requires forklift experience, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and adherence to GMP/SQF and food safety standards. Overtime and weekend availability may be required as part of a rotating 15-day-per-month schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Excellent attendance required.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Fork-lift experience preferred.
• Able to perform duties safely and effectively.
• Capable of physical mobility (walking, standing, bending, lifting).
• Ability to operate a scanner and work with automated equipment.
• Overtime required as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate stretch blow-molding machines to produce quality containers.
• Perform routine inspections, cleaning, lubricating and adjustments.
• Inspect containers using test equipment and visual methods.
• Pack containers and stack units to required heights.
• Safely operate lift trucks to move materials.
• Maintain GMP and SQF compliance and food safety practices.
• Assist in changeovers and material/materials changes.
• Fill in as Packaging Technician when needed.
