Amcor Flexibles, LLC is seeking a Packaging Technician for the day shift. The role involves inspecting, packing, labeling, and moving PET containers, while maintaining a safe, clean work area. The position operates automated equipment including palletizers and robotic arms, with rotating schedules and strong emphasis on GMP/SQF compliance.

Qualifications include 1–3 months related experience and prior palletizer operation. Ability to read simple instructions and lift up to 50 pounds is required.

Qualifications

• One to three months related experience and/or training preferred.
• Must have prior experience operating a Palletizer.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.

Responsibilities

• Packs at designated lines and maintains production-based speed.
• Labels and prepares cartons and ensures accurate weights.
• Inspects materials, products and containers for defects.
• Records weight, time, date packaged and defects.
• Operates palletizer and robotic packing equipment.
• Keeps work area clean and adheres to GMP/SQF rules.
• Assists with training new employees.
• Communicates problems to supervisor and shift coworkers.
