Capstone Copper Corp. is seeking a Planning and Processing Operations Planner for Pinto Valley Mine in Globe, AZ.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in maintenance or operational planning and scheduling.
• 5+ years in maintenance, operations, or related technical roles.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance, scheduling, and work management processes.
• Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook; experience using SAP or similar systems.
• Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills; ability to read, write, and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Planning & Scheduling: Develop detailed daily, weekly, and long-term maintenance/operations plans for the concentrator, ensuring work is prioritized and resourced.
• Work Management: Manage SAP work orders, prioritization, scope, labor estimates, and schedule development.
• Resource Coordination: Identify and coordinate parts, materials, tools, equipment, and contractor support.
• Field Coordination: Work with supervisors and crews in the field to validate scope and resource needs.
• Maintenance Strategy Support: Support preventive/predictive maintenance programs and reliability initiatives.
• Performance & Cost Management: Help achieve safety, availability, and cost targets through planning and scheduling.
• Contractor & Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with contractors and vendors per site standards.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve planning processes and equipment performance.
• Reporting & Meetings: Prepare planning/scheduling reports and participate in planning meetings.
