Job summary

Ohio Thrift is seeking a hands-on Processing Manager to lead high-volume merchandise processing at the Distribution Center in Columbus, OH. You will oversee workflow, quality, staffing, and team development across several processing segments.

This role partners with the Director of Production to drive throughput, maintain safety, and foster a positive, organized work environment while coaching supervisors and staff to meet daily targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years in supervision/management in processing or distribution.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills.
• Ability to manage multiple teams and shifting priorities.
• Experience with workflow management and productivity tracking.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift 25–50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production operations across all processing segments.
• Coach, support, and hold accountable supervisors, team leads, and staff.
• Monitor throughput, accuracy, and quality standards.
• Identify workflow bottlenecks and implement process improvements.
• Coordinate staffing levels, break schedules, and daily assignments.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Train new employees and support ongoing development.
• Address performance issues promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with warehouse leadership to ensure smooth merchandise flow.
• Track daily production numbers and report progress to leadership.
• Support hiring, onboarding, and retention efforts.
