Job summary

Versova in Pasco, WA is seeking a Processing Lead to oversee processing operations, Break Room, Tanker Bay and Transfer Room activities. You will train, coach, and direct staff across plant positions, ensuring production schedules, quality, and safety standards are met.

The role requires knowledge of all plant positions, with hands-on leadership to maintain efficiency and product flow. Shift work, including nights and weekends, may be required to meet production demands.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of leadership experience.
• 2+ years of food processing or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to drive a shag truck and back in trailers.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs., twist, bend, and work in various climate conditions.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage processing operations.
• Perform, monitor, and document hourly quality checks.
• Coordinate morning equipment setup and end-of-run washdown procedures.
• Manage product flow to meet schedules and customer specifications.
• Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot Clean-in-Place (CIP) systems.
• Ensure equipment cleanliness and readiness for quality inspections.
• Fill in for all processing positions where needed.
• Train, coach, and direct employees across various plant positions.
• Collaborate with other departments to foster a unified team environment.
• Communicate effectively with USDA on-site inspectors, management, and quality control teams.
• Enforce and follow safety rules and policies.
• Assist with Transfer Room activities as needed.
• Other duties as assigned
