Job summary

Novonesis is seeking a Project Engineering Intern to support engineering and capital project activities within a manufacturing environment. You will work alongside project engineers, operations, maintenance, and quality teams to assist in facility improvements, equipment installations, and process optimization.

The internship provides hands-on exposure to the full project lifecycle, from concept through startup, with opportunities to present findings to site leadership.

Qualifications

• GPA requirement of 3.0 or higher.
• Pursuing a Bachelor of Science in an engineering discipline.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Interest in engineering project management and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

The Project Engineering Department is responsible for planning, executing, and supporting capital and continuous improvement projects across manufacturing operations and site infrastructure. The team partners closely with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, EHS, Supply Chain, and external contractors to identify opportunities, develop solutions, and deliver projects that improve safety, reliability, efficiency, and production capability.As a Project Engineering Intern , you will support engineering and capital project activities while gaining hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment. This role provides opportunities to work alongside project engineers, operations personnel, and cross-functional teams to support facility improvements, equipment installations, process optimization, and project documentation.
