Job summary

Greif, a global leader in performance packaging, is seeking a Process Technician - Steel to drive continuous improvement in manufacturing. You will focus on increasing OEE, reducing scrap, and improving paint yield while collaborating with Operations, Maintenance, Reliability, Quality, and Engineering teams.

The role requires a High School diploma (or equivalent) and 3-6 years of experience, with proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and data analysis.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of OEE concepts and KPIs.
• Root cause analysis tools (5 Why, Fishbone, Pareto).
• Process troubleshooting and data analysis capabilities.
• Proficient with Excel and Power BI for data visualization.

Responsibilities

• Lead initiatives to improve OEE across production lines.
• Analyze production losses and identify availability, performance, and quality improvements.
• Develop action plans to eliminate recurring losses and reduce scrap.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to close gaps identified in diagnostics.
• Create dashboards and reports to monitor OEE, scrap, and paint usage.
