Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years of manufacturing or engineering experience.
• Experience in process improvement and lean manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Conducts trials, analyzes results, and makes recommendations related to engineering and manufacturing processes.
• Supports steel drum plant operations by improving productivity, quality, safety, and consistency.
• Identifies and resolves issues with control strategies and implements cost-reduction actions.
• Performs calibration and validation testing on plant instrumentation and equipment.
• Prepares and reviews monthly quality and production reports to identify trends.
• Interprets and implements company policies within plant operations.
• Maintains current engineering knowledge of emerging technologies and continuous improvement tools.
• May lead small projects or provide training to junior engineers.
• Partners cross-functionally with plant leadership to support business goals.
