Job summary

PLP in Albemarle, NC seeks an engineer to analyze, organize and define production methods to manufacture new components in power/telecom sectors. Under engineering direction, you will conduct tests and studies to resolve manufacturing problems and drive process improvements.

You will train new employees, operate and set up equipment, troubleshoot issues, and maintain ISO documentation. You\'ll work from route sheets, product specs, and instructions to optimize methods, tooling, and equipment

Qualifications

• Degree in Manufacturing / Technical related discipline.
• Experience in developing methods and procedures.
• Familiarity with ISO documentation and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Work with engineering to develop new methods, procedures, and tooling.
• Observe operations and recommend improvements to methods, tooling, equipment, and processes to reduce costs and improve quality.
• Document accepted methods and processes in Work Instructions and maintain records.
