Job summary

Mauser Packaging Solutions is seeking a production supervisor to organize, coordinate and plan activities in our plastic container manufacturing. You will start up tooling, liaise with maintenance, QA and production staff, and monitor performance and safety.

Ideal candidates bring Lean Six Sigma/Kaizen experience, strong communication, and the ability to work long shifts. This role supports continuous improvement and operational efficiency across molding operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, engineering or related area with 1+ year experience preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma or Kaizen experience/certification a plus.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Good mathematical and organizational skills.
• Working knowledge of OSHA standards and GMPs.
• Experience troubleshooting, preferably in injection and blow molding.
• Ability to work up to 12 hours on day or night shift.

Responsibilities

• Observes and records production operations.
• Review operational schedules and coordinates activities to minimize costs and delays.
• Inspects machines and equipment for performance and utilization.
• Seeks methods to improve standard operating practices.
• Monitors safety and efficiency of molding machinery and conveyors.
• Coordinates with mold set technicians and supervisors for parts and tooling.
• Performs preventive maintenance on tooling and equipment.
• Trains machine attendants and supervisors.
• Follows all safety rules and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
