Job summary

Mauser Packaging Solutions is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a maintenance production team responsible for troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining production equipment. The role emphasizes safety, quality and achieving OEE targets while supporting lean manufacturing initiatives.

You will manage work orders, coordinate with production and scheduling, and perform hands-on maintenance on the floor. Strong leadership, planning and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or technical school certification required.
• Experience with electrical troubleshooting and repair.
• Minimum of one year leading/supervising in a manufacturing operation.
• Lean environment experience preferred; strong organizational and planning skills.
• Excellent written/verbal communication and ability to be a team player.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversees, plans and issues work orders for maintenance on shift teams for equipment modifications and preventive/corrective maintenance.
• Coordinates repairs and maintenance activities with production and scheduling departments as necessary.
• Remains active on the floor providing hands-on troubleshooting and maintenance of production equipment.
• Enforces plant rules, monitors attendance and provides corrective action.
• Generates maintenance logs and operating metrics such as OEE.
• Conducts safety inspections of work areas, tools and equipment; facilitates safety training.
• Prepares purchase requisitions for materials, tools, equipment and replacement parts; may manage spare parts inventory.
• Interacts with vendors to discuss products used in repairs or projects; participates in Lean practices like Six Sigma and 5S.
