Job summary

Lam Research is seeking a Process Technician in the California Bay Area to support process development and R&D. You will set up processing equipment, run tests, collect data, and present findings to optimize yield.

This role requires working in a clean room with PPE and following defined recipes to support engineers. You will assist in troubleshooting lab tools and experiments, ensuring accurate measurements and documentation.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of related experience.
• Associates degree or technical certificate in semiconductors/electronics/chemistry/mechanical or related field.
• Ability to work in a clean room and wear PPE.
• Solid English reading/writing and ability to work in shifts.

Responsibilities

• Support Process Engineers in wafer fabrication equipment tests, setup, experiments, data collection and sample submissions.
• Operate processing equipment and advanced tools with recipes defined by engineering teams; collect results and analyze measurements.
• Process test runs and prepare records, charts, and schematics for presentation to engineering to identify yield improvements.
• Provide technical assistance to process development teams and process engineers; assist in troubleshooting and improving lab tools and setups.
