Job summary

Lam Research in the Portland area is seeking a Process Technician 4 to support wafer fabrication equipment, process development and R&D in our Global Products Group. You will set up processing equipment, run tests, collect data and present findings to optimize yield, contributing to Lam’s commitment to innovation.

Qualified candidates have 4–6 years of related experience, an associate degree or technical certification in a semiconductor/related field, and can work in a cleanroom and shift

Qualifications

• Associates degree in technical field, Technical Certificate, Diploma or higher in semiconductors, electronics, chemistry, mechanical, or related field.
• 4-6 years of related experience.
• Ability to work in a clean room environment, PPE, cleanroom suit, or smock.
• Foundational communication skills, reading and writing, in English.
• Ability to work a shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Set up processing equipment, conduct technical tests and experiments, process test runs, and present findings to optimize yield.
• Operate processing equipment and advanced tools with recipes defined by engineering teams to collect results and analyze properties.
• Process test runs and prepare records, charts, and schematics of results for presentation to engineering to identify yield optimization areas.
• Provide technical assistance to process development teams and process engineers.
• Assist in technical troubleshooting and improvement opportunities of the application lab tools and experiment setups.
