Job summary

NYX Inc. on the Michigan production floor seeks a Process Technician for interior plastic injection molding operations. You will execute daily process verification, monitor machines, and respond to Andon signals to maintain schedule adherence.

You’ll document changes, support die setters and material handlers during job changes, ensure 10-shot cycle validation, and uphold TS16949 and ISO 14001 EMS standards while maintaining 5S and safety.

Qualifications

• Familiar with TS16949 and ISO 14001 EMS requirements.
• Experience with process verification and daily rounds.
• Ability to read production documentation and logs.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily checks on Process Verification Sheets and Machine Daily Rounds.
• Respond to ANDON signals and take corrective actions to maintain productivity.
• Review documentation from Production Books and Kiosk stations and inform supervisor of replenishment needs.
• Log and communicate process changes on the Parameter Log Change form.
• Follow work instructions for process monitoring, mold change, process pullout, and preventive maintenance.
• Coordinate with die setters, material handlers, and stock handlers during job changes.
• Ensure product runs in cycle for at least 10 consecutive shots to verify F.P.A. compliance.
• Oversee machine and robot performance, process flow, and preventive maintenance projects.
• Possess ability to supervise the shift in supervisor's absence and support floor activities.
• Complete additional work assigned by supervisor or management.
• Maintain TS16949 knowledge and adhere to the Quality Policy.
• Follow safety rules, report hazards and injuries, and uphold 5S housekeeping standards.
