Job summary

Corning Incorporated in North Carolina seeks a technically skilled technician to support manufacturing processes, collect data, troubleshoot equipment, and help drive cost and yield improvements. You will work with engineers to advance new processes and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

Required is a 2-year technical degree or equivalent, 2–5 years manufacturing experience, and strong problem-solving skills. A.S./B.S. in a technical field and Lean/Six Sigma credentials are a plus.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical degree or equivalent experience required.
• 2-5 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read drawings.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot process and equipment issues.
• Support process improvement and yield optimization.
• Collect and analyze manufacturing data.
• Support equipment testing, installation, and upgrades.
• Collaborate with engineers on new processes and projects.
