Jabil is seeking a 2nd Shift Production Support Technician in Grantsville, UT. The role focuses on creating work instructions, supporting tooling and process improvements, and assisting with new product introductions to keep operations safe and efficient.

You will read drawings, interpret manufacturing documentation, and collaborate with Engineering and Production on resolving on-floor issues while contributing to 5S and continuous improvement initiatives.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools.
• Associate or Bachelor degree in a technical field preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of production or manufacturing experience.
• Experience creating work instructions or supporting tooling activities is a plus.
• Electronics manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Experience supporting NPI or process improvement activities is a plus.

2ndShift Position - Monday to Friday - 3:00PM to 11:30PM

How will you make an impact?

Support production by developing work instructions, implementing tooling and process improvements, and assisting with new product introductions. This role helps ensure safe, efficient, and standardized manufacturing operations.

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Basic mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools required.

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of production or manufacturing experience.

• Experience supporting assembly, rework, or manufacturing operations preferred.

• Experience creating work instructions or supporting tooling activities is a plus.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Ability to read assembly drawings and manufacturing documentation.

• Understanding of manufacturing processes and 5S principles.

• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and basic fixtures.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work on the manufacturing floor.

Preferred Qualifications

• Electronics manufacturing experience.

• Experience supporting NPI or process improvement activities.
