Job summary

Canadian Solar’s CS Power Systems in Jeffersonville, Indiana is seeking a Process Technician to maintain and improve production line KPI such as efficiency, yield, cost, and reliability. You will conduct process experiments, gather data, and present results to engineers and supervisors.

The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in chemical, materials science, or related fields and 1–2 years in solar cell manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical, material science, microelectronics, or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in solar cell manufacturing or related industry.
• Willingness to work overtime and extended hours for 24/7 production requirements.

Responsibilities

• Resolve process issues affecting efficiency, yield, productivity, cost and reliability.
• Perform SOP-driven daily tasks as assigned by supervisor/engineer and cross-functional team.
• Conduct process experiments to improve cell efficiency, stability, yield and productivity.
• Gather and analyze experimental data; write and present summary reports.
• Maintain records in process/machine parameter checklists and SPC charts.
• Assist in equipment maintenance and shutdown activities to restore operations.
