Role Description

We are hiring a motivated individual to join our Cathode Engineering Team, which includes experts in Materials, Battery, Test, and Process engineering. Your role will involve producing, documenting, and characterizing batteries’ cathodes, supporting development, optimization, and scaling of our core technology. Daily tasks include executing tests, collecting data, and suggesting process improvements based on your lab experience, communicating findings to engineers and scientists.

What you'll do:

1. Prepare materials from Form Factory 1 for analysis in our MA-based lab
2. Operate mechanical testing equipment to gather data on material properties
3. Follow SOPs and document process conditions and deviations
4. Improve existing production and analysis protocols
5. Support engineers and scientists in experiments
6. Use communication tools (Slack, Jira, Asana) for collaboration

What you'll bring:

1. 2+ years experience in R&D or manufacturing environment
2. Experience following SOPs
3. Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
4. Strong communication and organizational skills
