Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Production skills: Must have ability to become proficient with process equipment.
• Analytical skills: Must be quality conscious and detail oriented.
• Organizational skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities as well as easily adapt to changing situations.
• Communication: Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Equipment Operation: Ensures equipment is operating effectively, reporting, and communicating deficiencies with the production supervisor. Operates equipment according to SOPs.
• Material Preparation: Works with the lead material handler to ensure proper raw materials are staged and prepped for production and with quality department to inspect raw materials.
• Blending: Follows specific recipes provided by production manager.
• Food Safety: Follows all GMP, FDA, and safety standards.
• Forklift: Forklift certified or able to obtain certification.
• Other duties as assigned
