We are seeking a skilled Process Technician 1 to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for starting, operating, and adjusting manufacturing machinery and equipment. This role requires a focus on safety, an understanding of quality, a continuous improvement mindset, and the ability to work independently.
Use technician computer to monitor and record machine statuses as well as maintain daily records of maintenance or other projects preformed
Diagnose faults, malfunctions, and mechanical problems and determine how to correct them by checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs
Calibrate or adjust machinery or equipment to ensure quality production
Test, troubleshoot and adjust manufacturing machinery and equipment
Keep work area clean and organized
Other items as directed by management
LOTO assessments, JSA creation
Basic multimeter usage (voltage and resistance checks)
Hydraulic, air, and water hose fabrication
Hot stamp and auxiliary equipment troubleshooting
Drilling tap and die, thread insert repair
Blender and weigh bin calibration
Nozzle and heater block wiring
Advanced rigging
Silicone sprayer troubleshooting
Compounding, low and high pressure injection fundamentals
Mold change process and repair fundamentals
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role.
Forklift, cranes and other industrial vehicles experience preferred
2 or more years of mechanical or technical experience preferred
Must be able to use hand tools ranging from common hand and power tools to fabrication tools
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills, including reading, writing, and speaking basic English.
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
Comfortable working in various environments, including outdoor and indoor settings.

The Virginia base pay range for this position is from $24.50-$29.00. Salary will be based on prior experience related to the skills required for this position.
