Job summary

SAIC seeks a Process Systems Engineer to join the Air Operations Center Weapons System Falconer Program. The role focuses on engineering lifecycle management, business process re-engineering, and translating stakeholder requirements into actionable solutions.

The candidate will apply systems engineering principles, data normalization, and data integrity practices while collaborating with government customers and contractors. On-site Hampton, VA with a strong emphasis on continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Engineering with 3–5+ years experience; Master's degree optional but advantageous.
• Active Secret Clearance.
• Strong understanding of Systems Engineering Lifecycles and process improvement frameworks (Lean, Six Sigma).
• Ability to evaluate complex environments from a process optimization perspective.
• Proven ability to drive stakeholder consensus across functions and leadership levels.
• Excellent elicitation, listening and technical writing skills.
• Experience developing SOPs, process playbooks and training documentation.

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze and recommend solutions to Government requirements and design documentation.
• Provide Systems Engineering services for lifecycle tools (PLMT) used in design, integration and testing.
• Ensure tools used in design/integration/testing are integrated with Government PLMT and approved tools.
• Leverage Lean/Six Sigma to bridge business operations and technical capabilities.
• Interface with software developers to communicate systems engineering requirements.
