Job summary

CACI International Inc. is seeking an Enterprise Systems Engineer to support the Air Force DCGS at Hampton, VA. The role involves proactive systems engineering across the EPS to improve efficiency, collaboration, and sound engineering practices.

It requires on-site, full-time work and a TS/SCI clearance. Responsibilities include capacity analysis for VM environments, developing collection and reporting tools, and maintaining documentation and SWDDs.

Qualifications

Requires active TS/SCI security clearance.
On-site work at Langley AFB, VA.
Bachelor's or associate degree in computer/electrical engineering, or related field.
CompTIA Security Plus certification.
6+ years of systems engineering experience.
2+ years of experience with virtual components in on-prem or cloud environments.
Knowledge of virtual infrastructures including compute/storage and basic networking.
Strong mathematical background and ability to manipulate metrics.

Responsibilities

Analyze VM metrics to right-size vCPUs and memory.
Develop tools to collect, correlate, and assess capacity metrics for impact analysis.
Obtain privileged access and work with tools across virtual systems, edge nodes, and private clouds.
Review technical documentation and provide engineering feedback.
Create/modify queries to support metric discovery and generate capacity reports.
Contribute to sustainment and deployment lifecycle and CM processes.
Provide capacity management metrics to drive provisioning decisions.
