Job summary

ARCO/Murray National Construction in Downers Grove, IL is seeking an experienced Project Manager for our Process Solutions team. You will own project performance, drive customer satisfaction, and manage from design through construction with full profit responsibility.

Responsibilities include leading preconstruction, budgeting, value engineering, subcontractor buyout, and on-site coordination with clients and design teams. Proficiency in MS Office and MS Projects is expected.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or related field.
• 2-5 years of construction management and/or engineering design experience.
• Experience leading design/build industrial, cold storage, food & beverage, advanced manufacturing, or data center projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all managerial and administrative aspects of project from the earliest stages of preconstruction through project closeout.
• Work closely with clients and the design team to develop preliminary concept drawings and project budget.
• Participate in the proposal meeting to review scope, reduce costs, and negotiate contracts & fees.
• Oversee subcontractor selection and buyout for all trades and vendors.
• Investigate opportunities to procure materials/equipment directly when advantageous.
• Work with Project Superintendent to develop review subcontractor scopes of work, schedule, and site logistics.
• Lead preconstruction planning meetings with designers, subcontractors and vendors.
• Lead weekly/bi-weekly OAC meetings on-site to review progress and address challenges.
• Track and manage project performance vs budget; prepare owner pay apps and progress billing reports.
