ARCO/Murray National Construction is seeking a highly motivated Project Manager who thrives in design/build environments to join our Entertainment team in Downers Grove, IL. You’ll own project performance, client satisfaction, and drive projects from design to completion.

Responsibilities include coordinating preconstruction with clients and the design team, managing budgets, and overseeing subcontractor selection.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of construction management or engineering design experience.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all managerial and administrative aspects of project from preconstruction through closeout.
• Work with clients and design team to develop preliminary concept drawings and budgets.
• Negotiate contracts and fees while overseeing subcontractor selection and buyout process.
• Identify opportunities to procure materials or equipment to optimize budget or schedule.
• Develop and review subcontractor scopes, schedules, and site logistics with the project team.
• Lead preconstruction planning meetings to solve constructability and manpower issues.
• Lead weekly on-site meetings to review progress and address challenges with the client.
• Track and report project performance vs. budget, including pay applications and progress billing.
