Owens Corning is seeking a Corporate Engineering Lead to partner with operations and Center of Excellence to optimize Doors manufacturing. The role focuses on process improvements, troubleshooting, and capital project design, acting as SME for Doors plants and coordinating with engineering teams to deliver improved efficiency, safety, and quality.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline preferred or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience within a manufacturing or technical environment; heavy manufacturing in a Discrete operation or Wood industry highly preferred.
• Ability to travel 40-50% as needed for role.
• Certification in Six Sigma (Green Belt) preferred.

Mansioni

• Provide process and controls support to plant sites and develop/implement gold standards and best practices to achieve best-in-class Door making performance.
• Lead projects to improve performance, eliminate losses, and document training for these systems to achieve enhanced OEE of equipment.
• Standardize best practices and create Gold Standards for Process; implement in sister plants.
• Analyze process data to identify chronic issues and implement sustainable solutions; provide ROI feedback to plants.
• Support design and commissioning of capital and productivity projects; ensure preventive and predictive plans and procedures are built and executed.
