Job summary

Owens Corning seeks a Corporate Engineering Lead in Fort Mill, SC to drive process and controls improvements across Doors plants. You will act as SME for manufacturing processes, champion capital project design/commissioning, and collaborate with operations teams and COE to raise efficiency and safety.

Role requires 40-50% travel, leadership in project startups, and coaching of technical teams; a Six Sigma Green Belt is preferred alongside a Bachelor's in engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing or technical environment.
• Willingness to travel 40-50% as needed for role.

Responsibilities

• Provide process and controls support at plant sites to improve performance.
• Lead process optimization projects to improve OEE and reduce losses.
• Serve as SME for Doors manufacturing processes and controls.
• Support design and commissioning of capital and productivity projects.
• Coach and develop plant Operations/Maint/Technical Leaders.
