Job summary

ProVest is seeking independent contractors to serve legal documents across West Virginia, preferably near Calhoun County. As a Private Process Server, you will manage your own schedule, plan routes, visit courthouses to collect documents, and report outcomes using ProVest's mobile apps.

You must have WV residency, a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and access to a computer and email. Flexible availability includes mornings, evenings and weekends, and you should be comfortable

Qualifications

• WV residency required; prefer near Calhoun County.
• Complete 3–5 service attempts per assignment.
• Document all attempts with GPS-enabled photos via ProVest app.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and auto insurance.
• Ability to visit local courthouses to pick up and email documents.

Responsibilities

• Serve legal documents within assigned areas.
• Manage assignments using ProVest apps (PVLS & PSO Mobile).
• Document all service attempts with GPS-stamped photos.
• Complete required service attempts per client guidelines.
• Return completed documents and reports accurately and on time.
• Plan routes and manage your own schedule.
• Maintain a professional and courteous approach at all times.

ProVest, one of the nation's largest legal support services firms, is seeking independent contractors to serve legal documents in West Virginia WV. Applicants must reside in West Virginia, preferably near Calhoun County.

Requirements

• West Virginia residency (near listed county preferred)
• Complete 3 to 5 service attempts per assignments.
• All attempts must be completed on different days and properly documented through the ProVest mobile app with GPS-enabled photographs
• Willingness and ability to visit local courthouses to pick up filed documents and email them back to ProVest when requested
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and auto insurance
• Access to a computer, printer, scanner, and email
• Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, and weekends
• Comfortable using mobile apps for documentation and reporting
