Job summary

ERM is seeking a Process Safety Management (PSM) Specialist for a fixed-term 6-month assignment in West Deptford, NJ. You will advance process safety programs, perform PHA/HAZID/HAZOP analyses, and support MOC and MI activities across global client projects.

You will lead cross-functional workshops, develop risk registers, and mentor teams while collaborating with EHS, engineering, and operations to drive continuous improvement and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in process safety.
• Bachelor's in engineering, safety or related field preferred.
• Experience with PHA, HAZID/HAZOP, MI evaluations, MOC, and operational readiness reviews.

Responsibilities

• Support PHA, including HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA, and What-If reviews, aligning with regulatory requirements and client standards.
• Provide technical guidance on PSM implementation, gap assessments, and continuous improvement.
• Develop and maintain process safety programs, procedures, and risk registers with actionable mitigation plans.
• Advise on MOC processes and support operational readiness and mechanical integrity reviews.
• Collaborate with EHS, engineering, and operations to ensure consistent process safety application across projects.
