Job summary

Bechtel Global Corporation is seeking a Process Safety Technical Specialist to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations during PCSU and Initial Operations. You will implement HSE requirements, lead risk assessments, and drive corrective actions across CSU fronts to strengthen safety performance.

We value LNG/high-hazard process experience, HAZOP/HAZID facilitation, and strong regulatory interpretation skills.

Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor's degree related to environmental, safety, health or science disciplines with 10–17 years of relevant experience.
Experience in LNG, high-hazard processes, commissioning/start-up (CSU) is preferred.
Certifications in process safety are a plus.

Responsibilities

Coordinate CSU activities to implement and assure HSE/process safety requirements.
Provide specialist process safety support using engineering principles and risk management.
Contribute to HAZOP/HAZID studies and risk assessments prior to energisation.
Facilitate risk assessments and hazard ID for commissioning/start-up phases.
Lead Contractor Risk Assessment Workshops and communicate hazards to crews.
Verify Permit-to-Work, energy isolation, and Job Hazard Analysis systems.
Review SIMOPS plans to mitigate hazards from overlapping activities.
