Job summary

Ingredion Incorporated seeks a Process Safety & Environmental Manager to provide technical leadership for process safety programs and environmental compliance across US/Canada facilities. You will partner with Operations, Maintenance, EHS, and Engineering to identify risks, drive improvements, and support major capital projects.

This role requires up to 50% travel and reports to the Senior Manager, EHSS, T&HS US/Canada.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Safety, Risk Management, or a related technical discipline.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental, health and safety (EHS), process safety, or engineering roles within a manufacturing environment.
Experience with regulatory agencies and ensuring compliance with environmental and process safety regulations.
Experience conducting environmental and PSM audits, managing corrective actions, and supporting improvements.
Knowledge of environmental permitting requirements and permit applications.
Strong written and verbal communication; ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Travel up to 50% as required.

Responsibilities

Lead and support process safety programs across the business segment, including OSHA PSM, EPA RMP, Combustible Dust, and Dry Thermal compliance.
Coordinate PHAs, DHAs, DTRs, PSSRs, and MOC processes to identify and mitigate risks.
Chair the North America Process Safety Committee and drive continuous improvement.
Develop and maintain environmental, health, and process safety programs and procedures.
Lead investigations, audits, and inspections, ensuring timely corrective actions.
Provide technical process safety guidance to Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, EHS, and contractors.
Build process safety competency through training and mentoring across reliability teams.
