Job summary

HF Sinclair in Artesia, NM is seeking a PSM Engineer to steward the site’s Process Safety Management program. You will provide day-to-day support for operating units, ensuring compliance with OSHA PSM and EPA RMP requirements while driving process safety excellence with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities include leading MOC/PSSR execution, conducting hazard analyses, investigating incidents, and guiding site personnel in risk reduction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–10 years of PSM experience in petroleum refining, pipelines, terminals or oil & gas.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent technical background.
• Experience with MOC and PSSR processes in process units.

Responsibilities

• Interface with Operations, EH&S, Process Engineering, Maintenance and Reliability to drive PSM excellence.
• Support MOC and PSSR execution and provide guidance on OSHA PSM and EPA RMP compliance.
• Analyze Process Safety Events and recommend preventative actions.
• Lead Process Hazard Analyses and incident investigations to identify root causes.
• Participate in audits and safety assessments and support turnaround activities.
