Job summary

Ben Aris LLC is seeking a Senior Process Safety Engineer to support and enhance the company's Process Safety & Risk Management program at its facilities. The role involves guiding PSM elements, leading incident investigations, and shaping corporate policies to improve safety and compliance.

Qualifications

BS degree in Engineering required.
Years of experience in Process Engineering and Process Safety in a refinery or chemical operator setting.
Knowledge of Federal PSM Regulations; state-specific PSM regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

Support and maintain the Process Safety & Risk Management Program.
Lead or participate in PSM-related incident investigations using Cause Map methodology and human factors.
Develop and implement corporate PSM policies, standards and guidelines.
Facilitate PHAs and revalidations, including SPAs and HCAs, and oversee related analyses.
Participate in site risk evaluations to ensure proper safeguards are in place.
Conduct audits to ensure compliance with OSHA PSM and EPA RMP requirements.
Ensure changes to MOC, MI, PHA training and QA are documented and assess effects on RMP.
