Job summary

H.B. Fuller is seeking a Process Safety Management (PSM) Engineer to lead risk reduction initiatives across manufacturing facilities handling flammable materials. You will partner with EHS, Operations, and Engineering to drive safe, reliable operations and ensure OSHA PSM and EPA RMP compliance region-wide.

The role involves audits, risk assessments, incident investigations, and program execution, with a salary in the $100k–$125k range and a comprehensive rewards package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Safety, or related Engineering field.
• 5+ years of process safety experience in chemical or industrial manufacturing.
• Knowledge of OSHA PSM and EPA Risk Management Program requirements.
• Experience leading PHAs, MOCs, incident investigations, and compliance audits.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead Process Hazard Analyses (PHA) for new and existing processes.
• Facilitate Management of Change (MOC) and Pre-Startup Safety Reviews.
• Identify, design, and implement process safety engineering controls.
• Support OSHA PSM and EPA RMP program compliance activities.
• Conduct incident investigations and manage corrective actions.
• Support mechanical integrity and preventive maintenance programs.
• Maintain process safety information and system documentation.
• Track safety metrics and support compliance audits and training.
