Job summary

H.B. Fuller, the world’s leading adhesives company, is seeking a Process Safety Engineer to lead PHA, MOC, and compliance initiatives across multiple manufacturing sites in the United States.

You will collaborate with EHS, Operations, and Engineering to ensure safe, reliable operations, investigate incidents, and support audits while maintaining process safety information and metrics. A bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience are required with U.S. work authorization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Safety, or related Engineering field required.
• 5+ years of process safety experience in chemical or industrial manufacturing.
• Knowledge of OSHA PSM and EPA Risk Management Program requirements.
• Experience leading PHAs, MOCs, incident investigations, and compliance audits.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead Process Hazard Analyses (PHA) for new and existing processes.
• Facilitate Management of Change (MOC) and Pre-Startup Safety Reviews.
• Identify, design, and implement process safety engineering controls.
• Support OSHA PSM and EPA RMP program compliance activities.
• Conduct incident investigations and manage corrective actions.
• Support mechanical integrity and preventive maintenance programs.
• Maintain process safety information and system documentation.
• Track safety metrics and support compliance audits and training.
