Job summary

Sun Chemical Corporation invites applicants for a Process Safety Engineer II role in North America. You will lead Process Safety Management activities across our manufacturing sites to reduce risk and improve operations.

Responsibilities include conducting PHAs and hazard analyses, managing safety-related capital projects from concept to startup, and supporting audits and regulatory compliance while collaborating with Operations, EHS, Maintenance, and Procurement teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in process or project engineering within the chemical industry.
• Strong Process Safety Management (PSM) experience.
• Knowledge of NFPA, API RP 520/521, AutoCAD, P&IDs, and project management tools.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Process Safety Engineer II North America

Join Sun Chemical's Group Engineering team and help drive process safety, risk reduction, and operational excellence across our North American manufacturing sites.

Key Responsibilities
