Job summary

3M seeks an Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Engineer specializing in Process Safety Management to join our global team. You will influence safety culture, lead risk reduction, and own EHS programs and training across manufacturing sites.

Ideal candidates bring at least 5 years of EHS experience, PSM knowledge, and strong regulatory compliance skills. Travel up to 15% domestically may be required; relocation may be authorized.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in an engineering or science field.
• Minimum 5 years of EHS experience in manufacturing or similar environments.
• Experience with Process Safety Management, machine guarding and confined space.
• Experience with EHS data reporting and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Support EHS culture and safety practices across the plant.
• Drive risk reduction and compliance activities in EHS programs.
• Own EHS programs and training with emphasis on PSM and related areas.
• Assist in auditing and regulatory inspections (OSHA, EPA, fire/police).
• Investigate incidents and conduct root cause analyses with corrective actions.
• Prepare internal/external EHS reports and trend analyses.
• Provide EHS input to changes via Management of Change processes.
