Job summary

Energy Transfer Partners, L.P. is seeking a Plant Process Safety professional to support the NWT region and Godley Plant.

You will lead PSM/RMP activities, ensure regulatory compliance, and coordinate with operations and safety teams to strengthen process safety across facilities. Responsibilities include developing policies, conducting audits, leading incident investigations, and delivering operator training.

Qualifications

• Six plus years of processing plant experience and/or process safety experience.
• Midstream gas processing knowledge.
• Ability to read piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).
• Strong communication, both verbal and written, and professional attitude.
• Detail-oriented with ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee PSM/RMP policies and procedures for facilities.
• Ensure compliance with PSM/RMP requirements, audits, and mishap investigations.
• Monitor record keeping and reporting for PSM/RMP and similar regulatory activities.
• Outline and implement training programs for PSM/RMP.
• Inspect facilities and recommend corrections to ensure compliance.
• Interact with third-party process safety professionals on regulatory matters.
• Lead PHA, incident investigations, and root cause analysis.
• Develop operating procedures and provide operator training.
• Develop KPIs to track facility PSM program progress.
• Conduct internal PSM and RMP audits; facilitate PSSR for new facilities.
• Develop Emergency Response Plans and coordinate with LEPC.
