Job summary

MSD offers a Future Talent Program internship up to 12 weeks with projects in the Global Support Function. The Process Safety Center of Excellence Intern will provide compliance and technical support to MSD facilities worldwide.

Projects include implementing improvements, data analysis, and developing tools to advance Process Safety. Eligible students are pursuing technical degrees and can work full-time for 10–12 weeks in a hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's/Master's in Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Biotechnology, Chemistry or Biology.
• Completed at least 2 years of college coursework.
• Able to work full time for 10–12 weeks.
• Strong problem solving, communication and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Process Safety program implementation and improvements.
• Assist with data analysis associated with Process Safety program implementation.
• Support Process Safety activities at Company sites.
• Contribute to development of tools for Process Safety program improvement.
