Job summary

Merck’s Future Talent Program offers a 10-12 week internship in Process Safety within the Global Support Function Division. The Intern will support compliance and technical activities across facilities worldwide, participate in project work, and gain exposure to process safety practices.

The role requires pursuing a Bachelors or Master’s in Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, with at least two years of coursework completed, and the ability to work full-time

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a technical degree in Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Biology or related field.
• Completed at least 2 years of college coursework.
• Able to work full-time for 10-12 weeks.
• Strong problem-solving and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Process Safety program implementation and improvements.
• Assist with data analysis for Process Safety program implementation.
• Support Process Safety activities at Company sites.
• Help develop innovative tools for Process Safety program improvement.
