Job summary

MSD's Future Talent Program invites motivated interns to join the Global Safety and Environment team across the Americas. This fixed-term internship (10–12 weeks) offers hands-on projects in EHS training, documentation governance, and incident investigation improvements, with exposure to real-world operations.

You'll work in a hybrid setup in the United States, collaborating with a small team to drive efficiency and learn how MSD approaches safety and environmental stewardship at scale.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in safety, environmental science, engineering, biotech, chemistry, biology or related technical field.
• Completed at least 2 years of college coursework.
• Available to work full-time for 10–12 weeks.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, problem-solving and computer skills.
• Able to receive verbal or written direction and implement changes.
• Ability to identify process inefficiencies and propose improvements.

Responsibilities

• Support the Global Safety and Environment (GSE) team across multiple sites in the Americas.
• Assist in EHS training implementation, documentation governance and incident investigations.
• Contribute to projects aimed at improving operational efficiency.
