We are searching for the best talent for a Process Quality Technician to be in Palm Beach Gardens, FL.

Purpose: Under the guidance of the Manufacturing Engineering Leader, Quality Operations Leader or Operations Leader, the Process Quality Technician provides technical support to identify causes of non-conformances and process failures, and to implement corrections, thus assuring process performance and compliance with QSR, GMP, and ISO requirements for manufacturing processes.

Responsible for verifying that quality systems are properly utilized in manufacturing, resulting in superior products. Also addresses instances where quality standards aren't met.

You Will Be Responsible For
  • Performing process improvement efforts.
  • Verifying that production associates perform assembly according to procedures.
  • Reporting findings.
  • Confirming that finished goods inspection is performed with appropriate sampling plans and procedures.
  • Conducting complaint investigations to support the complaint handling process, including significant or chronic product investigations such as recalls.
  • Documenting investigation results in computer systems.
  • Recommending modifications to established processes based on findings during inspections or to accommodate changing requirements.
Essential Functions
  • Performing non-conformance investigations, including NCR origination, bounding, product control, disposition, failure investigation, correction, and documentation.
  • Leading small kaizens with cross-functional teams to identify causes of nonconformance and ensure corrective/preventive actions are implemented.
  • Utilizing failure analysis tools (e.g., 5M analysis) for investigations, analyzing data, and recommending process, equipment, and system improvements.
  • Providing recommendations for process and system enhancements, updating procedures, and writing protocols.
  • Performing complaint investigations.
  • Implementing corrections and process improvements.
  • Providing training and education to manufacturing teams as needed.
  • Supporting internal and external audits and inspections.
Other Responsibilities
  • Supporting LEAN and Six Sigma initiatives.
  • Maintaining strong partnerships with manufacturing, engineering, QA, and maintenance teams.
  • Following current compliance regulations and standards.
  • Communicating business-related issues or opportunities to management.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications / Requirements
  • High school education or G.E.D. required.
  • Experience in QSR/ISO regulated medical device operations preferred.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Certifications/Licenses, and Affiliations
  • Strong computer skills; experience with Word and Excel required; experience with Minitab preferred.
  • Basic statistical and analytical problem-solving skills; experience with DMAIC, Fishbone Analysis, 5 Whys preferred.
  • Proficiency in preparing technical reports and presentations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good networking and influencing skills.
  • Ability to interact with technical peers and manufacturing associates effectively.
  • Self-motivated with limited supervision capability.
