Your Role:

As a Commercial HVAC Technician, you will:

• Conduct scheduled maintenance, service requests, repairs, and equipment changeouts.
• Collaborate with a support team including dispatchers, coordinators, supervisors, and technical resources.
• Be equipped with a fully stocked service van, iPad, iPhone, and necessary PPE.

Primary Qualifications

• At least 3-6 years of HVAC experience with demonstrated expertise in Commercial HVAC Refrigeration systems.
• This position is performed remotely but may require travel to client locations for training, meetings, and other in-person events.
• Ability to perform work in accordance with established processes and practices that comply with environmental, health safety, security, and fire protection standards.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed with some travel required.
• Physical requirements include climbing ladders while carrying up to 30 lbs., lifting up to 75 lbs., and maneuvering in confined spaces such as crawlspaces and attics.
• EPA Certification required.
• Willingness to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Must meet security clearance requirements.
• Subject to drug, background, and driver’s license checks.

Skills

• Service and install heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
• Service and install ice machines.
• Perform routine maintenance on ice machines and refrigeration.
• Assess and troubleshoot commercial HVAC systems for repairs.
• Inspect and repair or replace equipment as needed.
• Perform preventative maintenance and recommend repairs to prevent downtime.
• Respond to emergency service requests.
• Provide observations and recommendations regarding facility mechanical conditions.
• Participate in facility-related projects.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures.
• Work on light commercial equipment.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Complete paperwork promptly.
• Report to job sites and work efficiently.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience with industry software is a plus but not required.
