Job summary

Lyten, Inc. is seeking a proactive Process Quality Engineer to join our Operations team. This role bridges production, engineering, and quality with ownership of production lines, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.

You will define CTQ, develop quality plans, lead MSA/SPC, drive CAPAs, audit QMS, and collaborate with suppliers to ensure high-quality, scalable processes for composite materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or science with 3+ years of related experience, or MS in engineering/science with 1+ years.
• Experience in quality engineering within advanced manufacturing (composites, chemicals, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of SPC, FMEA, MSA/Gage R&R, and DoE.

Responsibilities

• Define CTQ parameters and pass/fail criteria with R&D and process engineering.
• Own SPC across pilot and production lines and monitor yield.
• Lead NCR/OOS investigations and drive CAPAs.
• Assist in ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 quality systems audits.
• Collaborate with supplier quality teams and review CoAs/SPC data.
