Job summary

Lyten is seeking a proactive Process Quality Engineer to bridge production, engineering, and quality. You will own production lines, drive CTQ, QC plans, and CAPAs while supporting ISO 9001/IATF 16949 compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of direct quality engineering experience in an advanced manufacturing environment.
• Experience applying quality methodologies and tools (SPC, FMEA, Control Plans, MSA/Gage R&R, DoE).
• Experience writing SOPs and maintaining QMS documentation.
• Hands-on experience with laboratory testing equipment and industrial metrology.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to drive CAPAs.
• Excellent technical writing and verbal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Define CTQ parameters and pass/fail criteria with R&D and process engineering teams.
• Develop and execute incoming, in-process, and final QC plans for materials and finished assemblies.
• Conduct MSA and gauge R&R to validate testing equipment accuracy.
• Own FMEA, lead cross-functional teams to mitigate risks.
• Implement SPC across pilot and production lines to monitor stability and yield.
• Lead investigations into NCRs, OOS results, and customer returns.
• Create and maintain SOPs; audit and collaborate with suppliers on quality standards.
