Job summary

Ford Motor in Michigan seeks a Process Quality Control Engineer to join our start-up style BlueOval Battery Park team, launching a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility and driving quality improvements across production lines.

You will audit control processes, coach the PQC team, analyze process data, and collaborate with engineers to ensure safety and reliability in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• Auditing experience in a manufacturing facility.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma methodologies
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a multidisciplinary team effectively.
• In depth knowledge of quality control practices and compliance regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Auditing control processes and quality control systems.
• Identify and address potential quality risks and safety concerns based on control plan and requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance production quality.
• Lead the team in analyzing process quality data, identifying key issues, and ensure the continuous improvement of processes.
• Support to coach the hourly PQC team members how to do the first article inspection, AM check list and how to oversee management of NG products.
• Audit factory cleanliness acceptance and provide the acceptance report.
• Participate in equipment acceptance and qualification.
