Job summary

Ford is building a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility at BlueOval Battery Park Michigan. You will lead an agile maintenance team, inspect and service automated production equipment, and drive data-driven improvements across shifts to ensure safety and quality.

The role emphasizes collaboration with operators and engineers, calibration of critical devices, and proactive process optimization in a fast-changing environment at Ford’s battery campus.

Qualifications

• Department of Labor or State Recognized Certification, or Military Equivalent
• Experience with industrial mechanical systems preferred
• Able to read technical drawings/schematics

Responsibilities

• Preventative Maintenance on automated production equipment (laser weld stations, AMRs, torque tooling, robots)
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic issues
• Calibrate critical measurement devices
• Monitor production processes for quality defects and take corrective actions
• Interpret equipment performance data for improvements
• Follow safety procedures and use PPE; document activities in CMMS
• Collaborate with operators, engineers and other technicians
• Support shift coverage across day, night, weekend and holiday shifts
